ROADWAY CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
HIGH STREET MILLING & PAVING – From Plummer Ave to Winter Street
The City of Newburyport’s Department of Public Services (DPS) would like to announce that, as part of the High Street roadway construction, High Street from Plummer Ave. to Winter St. will be milled starting July 1st through July 3rd. Paving will start the following week on July 10th through July 12th. Finally, pavement markings will follow two to four weeks after final paving. Aggregate Industries has been contracted by DPS to complete the roadway construction..
Construction work will occur during the hours between 7am-5pm, Monday – Friday. “No Parking” signs will be posted temporarily prior to and during the work. Please adhere to these notices. Any vehicle parked on the roadway will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
